Law is a formal ①mechanism of social control.

1) informal:Ethical and moral guidance

2) mechanism of social control：

Provides a structure for dealing with and resolving disputes that may arise;Provides some deterrent to those wishing to disrupt social order.

提供處理和解決可能出現(xiàn)的爭(zhēng)端的結(jié)構(gòu)；對(duì)那些想要擾亂社會(huì)秩序的人起到了一定的威懾作用。
